Following my passion, I earned a Diploma in Performing Arts in Australia, which led to my training as a pilates instructor in 2018. After a 5-year stint in Australia, we returned home to put our business plan into action, and in 2021, we proudly opened our beautiful studio.

I'm passionate about merging my love for movement with enhancing our clients' lives. The community at Hustle & Flow is the heart of my work, witnessing clients transform mentally, physically, and emotionally is incredibly fulfilling. Having clients of all ages, from 14 to 80, is truly amazing!

When I'm not at the studio, you'll find me enjoying time with our lovely dog Luna, taking beach strolls, spending quality moments with family and friends, unwinding, or experimenting in the kitchen. When I'm in Queenstown, I dive into mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, and exploring delicious dining spots.

Instructor

Originally from Canterbury, I made Ōakura my home after 8 years in Wellington. I holds a senior leadership role in Human Resources and have made Pilates a regular part of my life since 2006.

I cherish our H&F community's unwavering support and the camaraderie during our weekly classes. It's a privilege to have people choose to spend their time with us. Tailoring programs for our clients and witnessing their growth is truly fulfilling – that's my driving force.

Weekends are busy landscaping our Ōakura property, along with time for yoga, trail running, hiking, reading, cooking, entertaining friends, beach time, and keeping active with the kids.

Born and raised in Ōakura, I started at Ōakura Primary School, and later continued to Sacred Heart Girls College.

I adore the tight-knit community at Hustle and Flow. We lift each other up, making it a fun, chill place with some intense workouts! Making people feel their best and seeing them smile after a tough day is truly amazing. I have made some epic relationships within our H&F community, some even say I'm a mini Lauren (big love for Lauren)!

I spend quality time with family and friends, plan holidays and new travel adventures. I love sipping wine in the sun and taking leisurely walks along the beach. I'm thrilled about taking on more classes at Hustle & Flow in the coming weeks.

I dedicated over two decades to being a physiotherapist, starting in sports and rehabilitation, and later transitioning to occupational physiotherapy. Now, I've shifted my focus to pottery and Pilates!

Hailing from the Waikato, I met my husband, John, 30 years ago at Otago. After a decade in London, we returned with our two kids to relish all the beauty the Taranaki province has to offer.

With a good amount of past Pilates experience, I have to say Lauren's classes really hit the mark. They provide a solid workout and build incredible strength. My husband, John, and our daughter, Darcy, both enjoy coming to the studio. Working at Hustle and Flow allows me to meet new people in Oakura and assist them in achieving their goals, which I absolutely love. The Taranaki community is fantastic – everyone is down-to-earth and friendly. The classes have an awesome vibe.

In my downtime, I love to spend time with my family (although they've outpaced me in surfing!), creating pottery in the studio, tending to the garden, catching up with friends, taking cold water plunges, meditating, going tramping, skiing, and cheering on kids in sports!

Born and raised in Dunedin, I met my husband, Teihorangi, during our university years. After living in Otago, Wellington, Taranaki, and even New York, we’ve now settled in beautiful Ōakura, where we’re raising our two wonderful girls.

With a degree from the School of Physical Education, I spent five rewarding years teaching health, physical education, and outdoor education. My love for multisport and adventure racing has always kept me active, but it was during pregnancy that I turned to Pilates, seeking a lower-impact way to stay fit. I quickly fell in love with the practice and haven’t looked back since!

At Hustle & Flow, I’m excited to be part of a close-knit community where I can share my passion for Pilates with others. Helping people connect with their bodies, build strength, and improve their overall well-being is incredibly rewarding for me.

When I’m not at the studio, I’m chasing after my girls, training for the Coast to Coast, catching up with friends, and enjoying time outdoors.

COURTNEY BRONS
Instructor

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English and Classical Studies, along with a Postgraduate qualification in Teaching (Secondary & Early Childhood). I’m also certified in Reform Dynamic Reformer Pilates.

My love for reformer pilates started back in 2019, when it became a form of therapy during a chaotic time in my life. It was the first time I felt my overactive mind truly quiet down. In 2022, I took the leap and became an instructor. While life got busy and teaching took a back seat for a while, my passion for pilates never faded. After becoming a client at Hustle & Flow, I’m ready to step back into instructing. Outside of the studio, I’m a secondary school teacher.

What I love most about Hustle & Flow is that it’s not just a studio, it’s a feeling. It sounds a little cheesy, but it’s true. The people are incredible, and the space itself is beautiful.

In my downtime, you’ll probably find me with a good book in a sunny spot, out for a stroll, hanging with family and friends, or planning my next adventure.

CHERENE
Studio Manager

Growing up in Ireland, I was immersed in Gaelic football, which led me to coaching younger girls—a role I loved. My early career was in retail leadership until 2019, when I moved to New Zealand on a working holiday visa. After visiting Queenstown, I was hooked on its beauty and lifestyle and haven’t left since! I first tried Pilates to rehab a few lingering injuries and was instantly hooked—it’s been a huge part of my life ever since.

I’m excited to create a welcoming space for our community to get strong, reach fitness goals, and just enjoy moving. And with our studio right on the marina, I get to spend every day taking in that unbeatable view!

I’m all about lake days! Paddleboarding, reformer, catching up with friends, and soaking up the sun by the water—weekends are for chilling out in Queenstown’s gorgeous outdoors.

BRY COX
Instructor

Originally from Mildura, Australia, I’ve spent the last two years instructing and managing at FS8 Pilates, while also running my own business, Studio De Vin—a paint and sip studio I started in 2020! My love of movement began in dance, and I’m thrilled to bring it back into my daily life, this time helping others feel amazing through Pilates.

I’m so excited to meet everyone in this role and create a welcoming space for trying something new or returning to a familiar practice. I hope Hustle & Flow becomes a home away from home for both me and everyone who walks in the door.

Outside the studio you’ll find me outdoors, hiking, walking, or simply soaking up the sun. I’m also a big reader, always on the hunt for a great book recommendation!

There’s already so much love and passion around this studio, and joining the Pilates community has been one of the best decisions of my life. I can’t wait to share that love with others here at Hustle & Flow!

CHLOE CORR
Instructor

I grew up in Ireland with a passion for Gaelic football and spent ten years in dance, inspired by my wonderful granny, who’s always been a huge influence on me. While football eventually became my main focus, discovering Pilates brought back that love for movement and creativity I missed from my dancing days. I was drawn to the way Pilates combines the grace of dance with the strength of resistance training—it felt like coming home.

Outside of Pilates, I’m also a pharmacist, which has allowed me to combine my passion for health with helping people better understand well-being. It’s incredibly rewarding work that ties together my interests in fitness, health, and community care.

Weekends are for the outdoors! I love running, dipping in the lake, and hitting the gym with friends. A coffee (or sometimes a Guinness!) and a good boogie are also hard to pass up.

I'm thrilled to be part of the Hustle & Flow community and to share the joy of movement with others!

CECE EDMAN
Instructor

Originally from Sweden, I’ve been calling Queenstown home for the past seven years. Pilates became part of my life three years ago, and I quickly fell in love with the way it combines focus and challenge while bringing a sense of calm. It’s been my go-to for strength, peace, and confidence.

I’m excited to show everyone just how incredible Pilates is and how amazing, strong, and empowered you can feel after each class!

Outside of the studio I’m all about the outdoors, whether it’s running, hiking, or a good walk in nature. I also love diving into a good book (ask me for recommendations!) and baking traditional Swedish treats.

kind words ~

  • “Hustle & Flow is the perfect name for this addictive exercise. The hustle is the muscle burn I still feel in every class and the drive to push a bit further each time. My abs have come back - despite three pregnancies. I feel stronger in my 40s than I have ever been before.

The greatest benefit though, is the Flow.. the peace that Pilates has brought to the rest of my life. Starting the day with a great bunch of people, moving with grace and strength is the best kind of mindfulness. I enjoy the focus it takes to perform each exercise and the connection between my brain and body. For me, this ‘flow’ is the perfect therapy both physical and mental.

Lauren and her team are excellent instructors who keep the routines fresh. They care about each individual’s needs and modify exercises accordingly.

I cannot overstate how much I love Hustle & Flow pilates! I will be on that reformer at least twice a week till I’m a creaky old lady with killer abs!!”

  • “After completing my first 10week block of Reformer Pilates with Lauren and I have nothing but praise to give.  With Lauren’s experience, knowledge and guidance I quickly feel in love with the challenging nature of this type of training.  I started to notice the benefits immediately, I was a lot stronger through my core, my body felt much more balanced and this gave me the ability to push myself harder with my other training in the gym and road running. Having no prior experience of Pilates I was certainly a bit apprehensive at the beginning but I quickly found myself hooked and looking forward to each class.  There is no doubt I will be continuing these sessions well into the future!”

    ~ Paul W

  • “After an injury 12 months ago and still not 100%, it was suggested Pilates could help build strength in the areas us office dwellers lose over time and make us susceptible to injury. After 10 reformer sessions with the team at Hustle & Flow in Oakura I admit I’m feeling really good, in fact I have booked more sessions and intend to go more regularly.

So you men out there, less talk, more do, book for the 10 men’s only classes and give it a good nudge, you won’t regret it.”

    ~ James C
